Pride of Lions Grants – May 2026

The following donations were recommended by Kenilworth Lions’ Community Services Committee and agreed by Club members at the May club meeting:

  • A grant of £500 has been awarded to the Molly Ollys charity (this charity supports children with life-threatening issues and their families)
  • A grant of £500 has been awarded to The Esther Project charity (this charity supports women who are facing mental health challenges)
  • A grant of £600 has been awarded to Kenilworth Netball Club. This will enable the purchase of items that will ‘transform training and matchdays for club members’.
  • A grant of £200 has been awarded to Kenilworth Rugby Club to assist with the cost of replacing their toilet facilities.
  • A grant of £400 has been awarded to Warwick & Kenilworth Choral Society. This will help with the costs of staging an Independence Day concert at St. Nicholas Church in Kenilworth on 04-July
  • A pledge grant of £100 has been awarded to a Kenilworth School pupil to help with the costs of attending a chamber music course
  • A grant of £600 has been awarded to Kenilworth School 496 Squadron Air Cadets to enable them to replace their ageing tents
  • A grant of £1,000 has been awarded to the Little Ray of Sunshine organisation. This will help with the costs of providing the dementia-friendly café sessions that they offer at the Kenilworth Centre

A total of £3,900 has been donated this month.
