The following donations were recommended by Kenilworth Lions’ Community Services Committee and agreed unanimously by Club members at the January club meeting:
- £2000 was donated to Myton Hospice to fund specialist palliative care for Kenilworth residents in their in-patient units
- £1500 was donated to the ILEAP charity to fund the provision of weekend stay and play sessions for disabled children and their parents at the Kenilworth Centre
- £1000 was donated towards the costs of specialist rehab sessions for a young child who needs to recover from a potentially life-threatening condition
A total of £4500 has been donated this month
