The following donations were recommended by Kenilworth Lions’ Community Services Committee and agreed unanimously by Lions’ members at the December 2025 club meeting:
- A young Kenilworth scout has been selected to represent Kenilworth at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree. A pledge donation of £250 was made to support with the costs of the trip. He is making huge efforts to raise the remainder of the funds required.
- A pledge donation of £1,500 has been made to Clinton Primary School to help them to refurbish their ageing playground equipment
- A £500 award was made to St Mary’s Church in Warwick to help with the costs of moving a lady with severe health and mobility issues from Warwick to Kenilworth
- A £2,000 award was made to the Kenilworth Centre to support the weekly youth sessions that they run. The Club recognises the challenges that young people face these days.
- Furniture Store vouchers totalling £470 were awarded this month
A total of £4,250 has been awarded or pledged this month (excluding vouchers).
