Making a difference for the health of our children, Kenilworth Lions are supporting a national project to buy 20 specialist cameras to carry out vision testing on 3 to 5-year-olds. Through you, our target is to fund one camera costing £5000 to enable us to take this much needed service into our local nursery schools.
Early testing and correction of vision in children can make a staggering difference to their development. Our community can embark on one of the biggest service projects that Lions have ever undertaken, resulting in life changing benefits for many pre school children.
To support and enable this event, we urgently need your help!
We need your donations of good quality items for this Exceptional Furniture Store opening, which is taking place on Thursday 11th September, between 3:30pm and 7.30pm.
Items of household furniture including kitchen and dining tables, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bookcases, coffee tables, white goods such as fridges, freezers, tumble driers, (sorry we are unable to take washing machines), electronics such as TV’s, music systems, microwaves, clocks, hoovers, garden furniture, home goods such as lamps, mirrors and pictures.
The list is endless, please get in touch if you are unsure. ALL proceeds from this one event will go directly to the purchase of a camera.
Kenilworth Lions will collect donated items free of charge, or please drop off on a Saturday morning at the FURNITURE STORE on Farmer Ward Road.
The donations accepted will be at the stores discretion as we need to ensure we have space and be able to sell them on.
