The Kenilworth Lions annual Grand Show is being held in Abbey Fields this Saturday afternoon (10th June).

Lion President Phil Inshaw says, “this event is for all the family to enjoy in a village fete type atmosphere and is supported by many local organisations. Our thanks are extended to Sylvesters Jewellers, Boothroyds, Damian J Plant Solicitors, Warwick Kia and Broadlands for their sponsorship”.

Held every year, the Show offers free admission and will consist of various stalls enabling a large number of local organisations to raise much needed funds for their own local charitable causes. Furthermore, there will be food and drink providers along with entertainment from the music stage, interspersed with a number of arena events. There will also be a number of sideshow games to take part in along with a small fair.

A Charity Grand Show raffle will also be held with a large number of prizes provided by Sylvesters Jewellers, Specsavers, Carrick Travel and many others. Look out for Lions members selling tickets for £1 each outside, Sainsbuy and Waitrose at weekends and at the Thursday market. Tickets are also on sale at the Kenilworth Centre.

The event will open with a parade by UK Trikes through the Town and entering the Arena before the official opening at 1pm. An approximate timetable is detailed below:

12-30. Leamington Spa Brass band playing

12-55. Trikes cavalcade enters arena with Dignitaries.

13-00. Town Mayor officially opens the show

13-05. Stage and arena entertainment commences

17-00. Grand Show raffle draw by Town own Mayor.

17-15. Show closes

The Lions look forward to seeing as many of you there!
