The following donations were recommended by Kenilworth Lions’ Community Services Committee and agreed unanimously by Lions’ members at the April club meeting:
- Donation of £1260 to Compassionate Kenilworth towards the running Bereavement Cafe
- Pledge of £600 towards Cricket Nets at Leek Wootton Cricket Club
- A donation of £500 was given to WDC for tenants in need of items
- £14,000 was given to Primary Schools to help with Swimming Costs
- A Voucher for £125 to help in furnishing a home
A total of £15,760 has been donated or pledged this month, excluding the vouchers
