The following donations were recommended by Kenilworth Lions’ Community Services Committee and agreed unanimously by Lions’ members at the February club meeting:
- A donation of £240 were agreed for Spring Play Group.
- A donation of £1000 was given to Care International to help in Gaza.
- A donation of £300 was given to the Family Learning Coventry Adult Education Service.
- A donation of £2,000 was awarded to the Tiny Tim’s Childcare Centre to help with the cost of Therapy Sessions for Children.
- A donation of £960 was given to Mercia MS Therapy Centre for footcare of Kenilworth Residents who require specialist footcare due to ongoing health issues.
- Seven Furniture Store vouchers amounting to £1625 were awarded to disadvantage families.
A total of £4500 has been donated or pledged this month, excluding the vouchers.
