Kenilworth Lions Club has recently donated a large range of items to The Treetop Foundation to support its work in the remote, poverty-stricken town of Tombodu, Sierra Leone. Treetop is a small family, UK based charity, and this represents its largest donation to date.

The consignment of goods had been assembled by Kenilworth Lions at its back-up storage facility at Kings Hill Nurseries, and included hundreds of thousands of crayons, 55 hospital mattresses, two hospital beds, medical equipment, a wheelchair, mugs etc. These items will be distributed amongst schools and a medical centre. It is set to be shipped out as soon as current travel restrictions have been lifted.
