Kenilworth Lions Club has been working with Kenilworth School & Sixth Form to promote world peace through a competition organised by Lions Clubs International. The theme was ‘The future of peace’ and pupils at the Kenilworth School were asked to design a poster based around that idea.
Pictured are the children who took part with the posters they designed. Each child interpreted the theme in their own way and the panel of judges had a tough time selecting a winner. Also pictured are Lion Graham Pemberton, Vice President of Kenilworth Lions Club, and Hayden Abbott, Headteacher of Kenilworth School, who were both part of the judging panel, along with the winning entry.
The winning Poster will now be entered in the regional contest against other West Midland entries. After national and International judging, a winner will receive a cash prize and an invitation to travel to America to receive an award.
