Just two weeks to go to the Kenilworth Lions Boxing Day Duck Race in Abbey Fields! Have you bought your race tickets yet? There are still plenty of opportunities to buy ahead of the day, or on the day itself. We shall be selling in Kenilworth Market on the 14th and 21st December, and outside Waitrose on the 15th and 16th December.

The Duck Race starts from the Ford at 12.00 noon, when the Mayor of Kenilworth, Cllr Kate Dickson, will be helping to tip the 1,500 racing ducks into the stream, and then following them down to the finishing line by the Swimming Pool in Abbey Fields.

Before you come to the Duck Race, why not visit Kenilworth Castle in the morning from 10.00 am? Admission is free, and there will be lots happening, including children’s activities and best dressed dog parade! You can purchase hot drinks and bacon rolls, and 50p from each sale will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity Fund.
